About HCC

Hackberry Creek Church was planted in 1988 to reach the developing area of Irving and Coppell with the gospel of Jesus Christ.  Being in one of the fastest growing and most diverse areas of the DFW Metroplex, HCC is delighted for the opportunity to open our doors to people from all over the world to gather and worship Jesus Christ as Lord and grow as his disciples.

Being one of the few Presbyterian churches in our immediate area, HCC is rooted in the Reformed theological tradition understanding that Jesus is Lord of every aspect of our lives and our chief end is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever.
Our mission at Hackberry Creek Church is Sharing Jesus Christ with others and growing as disciples.  We do this together through worship, the study of God’s Word, the ministry of care, the community of small groups, and serving together as ministers of Christ’s church.

Sunday Mornings
Sunday mornings at 9:30 am, Pastor Jonathan Tony leads us in an intelligent and passionate worship service. Each week we examine the Bible's teaching and the person of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. What does the Bible have to say about how we live? How does Jesus' teaching and leadership manifest itself in our daily lives? In addition, we lift the name of Jesus with a contemporary sound and style of music but we respect and remind ourselves of our heritage by singing the hymns of the faith frequently. You will find every generation in worship, praising God and growing closer to Jesus.  Come as you are and join us as we worship our great God and King!

Start with 168, that is, 168 hours in every week.  The intention is that we live our faith every hour of every week, that our Christ-centered commitment is part of everything we do for all our moments.  However recent studies assert that many church people only make reference to their faith in the hour or two each week when they may be at their church.  Faith 166 is the reversal of that.  The two hours we may spend at our place of worship and equipping is to prepare us to live the faith in the remaining 166 hours of each and every week for the rest of our lives.  The focus of Hackberry Creek Church is to equip us with a faith that shapes the 166 hours that we live in the week to come.  That’s Faith 166!

NEW Assisted Listening Devices are NOW available in the sanctuary. These are
available from the Audio Tech at the AV desk in the back of the Sanctuary. They do
require your own set of headphones or earbuds with a 3.5 mm stereo plug for use.
Also available are Telecoil neck loops for use with Telecoil equipped hearing aids.
Please be sure and return them at the end of the service.
