Our Mission
  • Our Mission is to lead, educate and equip the congregation in building supportive, caring ministries of encouragement based on the good news brought to us through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

Prayer Requests and Care Concerns
  • One of the ways in which the Deacons at Hackberry Creek Church fulfill our roles as caregivers and to help lead, educate and equip the congregation to be the body of caregivers is to provide prayer and care for our members and friends.

Hackberry Creek Church has a prayer chain to lift up members and friends during a time of need or to celebrate a praise.  In addition, we utilize a support team model to bring together those who are in need of care with those who want to care to fulfill short-term and long-term care needs.

To communicate a prayer request or care concern:

1. Fill out the Prayer Request/Care Concern form in the Sunday bulletin and either put it    in the offering plate or in the gold Prayer Request/Care Concern box in the narthex.

2. Call the 24-hour Prayer/Care Hotline at 972-869-9058 to leave a message.

3. Email your prayer request/care concern to hccprayer@hackberrycreekchurch.com.
(You can use the button below to send an email to this address)

4. NEW!  Contact the Deacon of the Month who is listed in the Sunday worship bulletin.

For Prayer Requests, you have the option to keep the request confidential, have it printed in the weekly prayer list in the Sunday worship bulletin and/or put on the Prayer Chain, an email that is sent to a group of Hackberry Creek Church members who pray for those in need.

For Care Concerns, your request will be forwarded only to the Deacons who will take the appropriate action based on what the care concern is.  A care concern may be of a short-term nature such as a need for meals for a defined time period while someone recovers from surgery or of a longer term nature due to a chronic illness that may necessitate meals, rides to doctor visits, running errands, help organizing medical bills, assistance with yard work, visiting, reading, etc.
